Gift Of Walking
The project aims to help people who have lost a limb of their body due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine; to help hospitalized people who need support to adapt to their new living situation.
About the walk
In 2024, we’re pooling our resources to acquire a bronchoscope.
As of March 30, 2024, we’ve gathered $2,230 towards our goal.
The total amount required is $20,000.
In 2022 a young and aspiring Oleks Kyya with cerebral palsy launched an ongoing fundraising walk-o-thon to raise funds for Ukrainian children’s hospitals. Since then, all by setting an example of how physical conditions could be overcome for a big goal, he keeps inspiring communities across Canada.
